It is my understanding that if your dual master cylinder is asymmetrical a
proportioning valve is not required. Any thoughts on this?
I purchased such a unit(as yet uninstalled) from Engineering Components of
Connecticuit along with a heavy 1/4" adapter. My problem is that the new
M.C. does not line up with the stock brake pedal. It is of by about an inch
and a half due to the bulge in the stock M.C. mounting bracket. What to do.
It might be one of those situations where an 1 1/2" is no "bigga deal." Its
not kowing how hard to push or where the edge of the universe is located
that always gets "the new kid in town."Any of you guy or gals that have
ever looked at it up close or pulled the M.C. off should know what bulge
I'm referring to. Gosh! There might even be a proper term for said
mechanical object and and yet another term for "the bulge." Any highly
literate engineer types out there that can give one of the "unwashed" a
lesson or a stern talking to?
