This may be way too elementary, but just be sure GM is not sending you the
specs on a 1947 SECOND series truck. You may already know that there are
TWO 1947 Chevy pickups.....the '47 First Series (like the '46), and the '47
Second Series (like the '48 thru '55 First Series). Just make sure you tell
the folks at GM to send you the info on the '47 FIRST series truck. Good
