Is there a specific carpet used in auto applications?
Does it have a particular weight? Backing?
Is there something about loop or cut styles that make one better than the
other for auto uses?
Does that metal foil padding I see in many catalogs really work? Hold up?
Is it foil up(toward carpeting) or down(toward metal surfaces?
What the best way to get carpet to mold around curved, concave and convex
surfaces?
Is heat used or does it need to be wet with glue?
Any special tools that make the job easier and more professional looking?
I short are there any or many secrets and/or invisible non-intuitive bits
of knowledge that are significant and will lead to success in this area or
is it all so obvious that only the uninitiated are without a clue to its
simplicity?
