Hi, It may sound a bit brutal but I found the best way to get these bolts out was to put mole-grips on each one and then break them off. They're crappy bolts so all you need is to bend them twice and they snap straight off (I planned to get new ones anyhow). The mounts for the running boards are strong enough so you won't do any damage. Pure finesse... Stu.. oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
