It has begun. I am way beyond the point of no return. In my driveway, in
the trunk of my engine less '68 Impala, is the 6 cyl. engine from my '57
3100. And 3 speed stick transmission. (A rear engine, 6 cylinder, 1968
Impala. Rare?).
On head, between carb and valve cover:

On pad on block, left of distributor:

Oil filled air filter is dented, carb is broken off at the base, valve
cover is dented. Block is blue-green in color, valve cover is chevy
orange. I have owned this truck 1 1/2 years, previous owner had it for
6-7 years, bought from person who had brought it up here to Michigan
from North Carolina. Truck was driven to garage where parts were pulled,
under-going transplant now.
These parts are available, dang near free. Free- will donations
accepted. Don't want to see them go to the bone yard. Also have 1968
Impala 2 dr. Custom coupe for parts, less engine, transmission, wheels,
and a few minor parts. Have 2 T-3 high beams on it yet, orig. issue.
Interior great, except for front seat. Any and all parts priced the same
as the trucks'.

350 people (if everyone stays home). Little brown truck just passes thru
