Hi all!
The wife and I just got back from our honeymoon in Sedona, AZ.
Unfortunately there was no time for parts hunting, even though I'm guessing
rust-free AZ is a goldmine of well preserved parts. However, we rode the
Verde Canyon Railroad from Clarksdale to Perkinsville and when we pulled
into the dilapidated P-ville station there was what I am 99.9% sure is a AD
grille sitting there on its nose. It's a painted not chrome. Maybe someone
in the area needing a grille could find out if its for sale or not. Also,
next to the station is an old old Willy's truck with the top chopped off.
There is a house next to the station (the only one for miles around as far
as I know) that looks lived in. Perhaps they are the owners. Or maybe the
property is owned by the train... they have a website.. just look up Verde
Canyon Railroad on your search engine of choice.
Happy hunting!
