For those who were interested in the NAPA part number for the nine foot, 
non-locking, chrome, T-handle cable that is suitable for an OD cable - here 
goes:  # 731-1106.  This was located at a small NAPA store near Westville 
Illinois, so larger stores may have it on the shelf.  Good luck.
