Antonio, what was in the truck when I bought it was a saginaw with a HURST 4
speed shifter, this is a straight stick but too short for a truck, and it
sat between the bucket seats that were in the cab. Older trucks(the 18 wheel
kind) had a rather short stick that left the knob and range select valve
aganst your knee, there are available at truck stops and chrome shops
extensions of diferent lengths and shapes i.e. 15, 30, 45 and 60 degree
bends in them, also there are short to long straight lengths. To thread onto
my HURST I had to get an adapter to go from I think it was 5/16 to 3/8 or
3/8 to 7/16 size threads, this was also available. Add the metallic amber
shift knob and the total cost was arround $30.00 (give or take). When I put
the bench seat back in the cab the shifter required a little adjustment in
the length of the shift rods to bring it to the front face of the bench, I
get all 4 gears and reverse with no problems
