I remember using a product purchased from an auto body supply store to cover
lower
body panels against stone chips. Forget the name, but it was clear spraying on,
dried clear. stayed flexible, body color showed thru too. Body Schutz (sp) comes
to mind, but not sure. Would work on under body panels, and under fiberglass
fenders to prevent star chips from stones. Basically a clear undercoat.
