I called LMC to order a radiator for my 55 2nd and they said they had it in
stock and would send it out the next day. A couple days later I called for
the tracking number and they told me everything had shipped but the radiator
and it was backordered for at least 3 weeks. They couldn't even tell me how
long it would be. I told them to proceed with my order and in the meantime
i called a few more places. I was willing to pay a little more if i didn't
have to wait. Well everyplace i called had to order it, but when i talked
to the lady at Obsolete Chevrolet and seen how helpful she was, i ordered
the radiator, plus other things from them. I cancelled the order at LMC and
haven't ordered anything from them since.
LMC could use a lesson in customer courtesy and telling the truth. :-)
                Ya'll have a great day,

While we're griping about vendors, I need to say that I've sure gotten poor
service from Jim Carter's. I called twice to request a used part (which
they said they had). Both times they said they'd call back with the item
and the price. I've never heard a word from them. Another reason I use
Obsolete Chevrolet Parts Company in Nashville, GA. Never had even a small
problem with them.
