[oletrucks] Starter Bench Test

How do you bench test a starter with a solenoid?  The one we had in had a 
large post for the bat. cable and two smaller posts labeled R and S.  The one 
we just picked up has two large posts, one of these attaches stater to 
solenoid, and one small post between them, no R or S labels. Always 
appreciate the help.
