Well, after a two and a half month break for illness and work I got in a good
weekend of work on my 46. I built a blast cabinet with the TIP kit that I
had questioned the list about back in December. It is awesome. It is
5'x3'x3' and worked great. I blasted all of my front end parts and painted
them up. It is great to blast away without having to put on a full
suit/hood, and then have to clean up the parking lot when I'm done. I am
also able to blast day or night, rain or shine. Blasting has never been so
fun.
I am trying to decide on moving my gas tank to the back over my diff, but
routing the filler neck will be tough with my dump bed etc. Can the fill
neck do a 90 degree bend right out of the top of the tank and run
horizontally a bit?
I also noticed that some companies advertise a dual master cylinder adapter
kit for the AD trucks (Classic Truck Brakes, Engineered Components Inc.).
Will this fit an Art Deco? Has anyone used one? Or should I just bite the
bullet and head to the junk yard? I just wonder if it is cheaper in the end
to buy a kit?
I need to replace my bench seat as it is very uncomfortable. I want to stay
with a bench for looks. It can be split. What is a possible donor?
Thanks,
Neil
