[oletrucks] 6 bolt wheels

Will any of the new 6 bolt wheels fit on 55-59 chevy six lug axles?  I have
noticed some newer (90's) Chevrolet trucks with 6 lug wheels and even some
foreign vehicles like the Toyota  SUV type trucks.   Anyone tried this?  All
help would be appreciated as I would like to put 16" or 17" wheels on my '57
but don't want to spend a bundle.  Some "take-offs" would probably be
available at the custom wheel shops.
