Curt,
AD means Advanced Design for 1947 to 1955 first. Real Men and Women drive
these trucks. AD trucks were the best trucks ever made and Chevrolet has
finally realized this and is going back to that design in the SSR. AD
drivers are stable in mind and secure in their actions. They are the chosen
people. They know the meaning of life and are living it to the fullest. :')
TF means Task Force. These trucks are from 1955 second to 1959. The
wannabe truckers drive the TF trucks. They are usually somewhat confused
about life but they are on the right track because they don't drive F*@ds.
Don't give up on these TF drivers though. One day they will wise up and
desire to own and drive a real truck, specifically an AD 1951 Chevy 1/2 ton
5 window deluxe. ;-)
I have never ordered anything from Golden State but I have ordered from
Classic Auto Parts in Oklahoma City and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone
except those poor souls that aren't smart enough to drive GM products.
