I'm shopping for tires and figured I'd look at the NTB website to do some
price comparison since they are one of the bigger local 'supermarket' tire
dealers.
I have used Tire Rack in the past but don't want to pay shipping and then
mounting too. I'm on a thin budget and everything helps.
The tire I have picked out (at Wally World) is a basic all season road tire
-$60- but at first glance several of the internet dealers are cheaper than
the local tire dealers for the more expensive brands that caught my eye.
NTB is 80 miles away but I visit the city (Chattanooga) often so if I pick
the tires up (and have them mounted there) and carry them back in the other
car - no money spent in my mind on gas.
The important pasrt (to me) is 20 dollars a tire means I can move from the
middle quality tire to something that I like better.
The old car in question isn't performance oriented so not much would be
gained in buying th best tire, nor does it get around too much so a 50K
mile tire will last forever on this car...
Just trying to save a few nickels by shopping a little harder.
So what it NTB's web address - the harder I hunted the Net search engines,
the more junk I got in return. I couldn't even find any references to NTB
on the Sears website despite the fact that they own NTB...
Thanks for the help!
