Sounds like a generic "step bumper", which lots of
companies and even small welding shops used to make,
and still do make, and are very common, and usually
all somewhat different. If the bumper fits ok, and
lets you tow a trailer, then sandblast it, paint it,
and use it! If you aren't going to tow, and want
the truck to look pretty, then buy the Chinese
reproduction chrome bumper that the truck parts
places sell, but be sure to get the brackets and the
correct license plate bracket/light assembly.
