Since school has slowed down and even work is at reasonable levels, I thought
I could get back on the list and catch up with what's going on with everyone.
As for me, I haven't gotten much done on the subs this year except for
locating and buying parts--tailgate and seats--and getting the 350
painted/retro'ed to look like the 283. In the next month or so, I hope to
split the body and frame so I can do the frame/suspension/drivetrain at my
house and my brother Brian can take care of the bodywork down at his shop
including the front floor, doors, front end sheet metal and NOS rear
quarters. I'm pretty sure that the material for the suburban back floor
can't be found anywhere, so I'm planning on a wood plank floor for the Chevy
at least. Also don't think the headliner material for the subs exists; there
sure isn't a kit on the market for the TF sub headliner.
Hopefully things will start moving faster this year. The GMC is in storage
till the Chevy is done.
