We had about 9 inches. Used my '47 to go to work (30 miles one way). Didn't have any problems until I slid into a ditch on the s turn road to my house. Put the truck on it's side but didn't even scratch the paint. Tow truck driver thought his dispatcher made a mistake when they called for a tow of my '47. He pulled me out and didn't even ask for my AAA card. Said he had never pulled an Advance design out before. Randy oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
