Thank you for those who answered on the car hauler question. Indeed,
transporting the frame would double the cost for me. Sooooo, for those of
you in southern California, I saw this ad in Hemmings, a '53 frame with 235
and original drivetrain, all supposedly in good running order. This
gentleman swapped the frame for a hi-tech independent frame and drivetrain.
The only thing I could see wrong with it was that the rear springs were bent
to lower the truck. On the plus side, it has Fenton (or similar) headers
and full split exhaust The asking price is also a little steep ($1,500). It
