Brian,
Well, I am by far no real expert at all, just a good listner and learner!
It's easy to tell the '55 Chevy from a '56 Chevy externally -- look for the
hood emblem change, the fender emblem placement, additional colors on the
Cameo models, etc. So far, I have not been able to externally see the
difference between a '55 and a '56 GMC. But that model was based off the '55
Chevy Cameo kit (not the '57 like the caption mentions -- the reason? look
at the slop of the door window frame... this isn't right, and was changed to
straight for the '57 Cameo model) and I've just recently lost out on eBay for
the '55 GMC conversion parts. Oh well... thanks for the response!
