  Mike,

  I'd suggest a MoToRs manual, or shop manual...both will help you confirm 
the wiring.

  Assuming all is intact correctly, set the points for the proper gap (.018 
or so) and see if you get spark....might be a good time to just replace the 
points and condenser now, and set up the new stuff.
