Charles -
With no engine in my truck,I was able to get in, clean off that bearing and
read the number. It's a 6203-RS. I called the local bearing supply house,
and the cost is $5.52.
I am not using any kind of bearing retainer, my reasoning being that this
bearing doesn't carry any real load, just positions the shaft in the column
stub. It's a light press fit, I think I used a piece of PVC pipe to tap it
into place. It hasn't moved, and the shaft is still tight after 3 years.
