Hey, per Neil on this list, I "rebuilt" the vacuum motor. Here's my tip to
you: Remove the motor. In the back is a thumb sized sheet metal cover
plate that protects the valving that reverses the direction of the wipers.
Try taking this cover off by prying gently with your pocket knife. Spray
the exposed spring assembly with WD40. After this your motor just might run
the wipers without pushing and pulling the on/off switch. Good luck.
