All 261 are full pressure, in the sense that that the crankshaft has insert
main and rod bearings, for full pressure lubrication from the oil pump (no dip
and splash)...But only the '58 - '62 261's have provision for full pressure
remote oil filters. Earlier models use only a cannister (bypass) filter, or
none at all. Even the '58 - '62 261's may not have the hoses and filer head
installed, but the fittings are there.
