I went to the wreckers today and found one pacer, and talking to some people there I've decided against it because the parts are too hard to find. I've found an older chevy that goes for about $150 which I'll probably use. For the rear axle I want to use something that will match the 5-lug, and I'd prefer discs and positraction. They said one that has the right 5-lug spacing the same as the front would be from a Caprice. Anyone have any other suggestions? oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
