Question for the group:

I've got my new radio now and my antenna.

Now comes the hard part: Can you guys tell me how to install the antenna. 
Exactly
what do I need to do. There has never been one on my truck. I bought the kind 
that
goes on the side, not on top. I hope you can walk me thru this.
