brad thanks for the info its weird, my 50 burb with the 216 runs out at 60-65 without currently killing the engine i checked the speedo and it is accurate i assummed the gears had been changed in the rear end but counted them and it is 4.11 the truck does have 30 or 31 inch tires though with the 3.55 i am hoping to reach 70-75 like i do in my 50 3100 with the 235/3.55 rear what are your tire heights? mike oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959 |
