Doug, received this post, but not your previous one (below).
As everyone sees, I am getting conflicting reports from the list on the
color of the speedo needle, which goes with the literature I had been
looking at for information. I took my speedo apart to change the bezel, and
I bet my orange (red?) needle is original - the gasket was melted into the
glass and metal, did not look like it had ever been opened since
manufacture. So I guess I will stay with the orange one.
