The spare tire mount is from Bass Pro Truck World 1-800-272-3035 part
#RTC-35 $24.95 + Shpng. It is a bolt-in. It fits perfect between the
front two side braces (horizontally) on a '49 (or other AD) Chevy 3/4
ton pickup bed. All you need to add is a 2"X2" angle "L" brace on one
end. (It comes with one already on the other end so you see what you
need to get from a hardware store.) You can mount it at any height you
need depending on your tire size. It has a V shaped metal holder that
tightens down on the center of the wheel. If you get one just email me
