Use to work on these old engines, but have forgotten.  On the 216 engine
does the valve stems have rubber caps or "O" rings on them?  My engine,
when you let it idle for quite some time discharges blue smoke when you
accelerate.  I know that if the rubber "O" rings go bad, that will cause
it.  A few other things will cause it too>
