One thing I recommend for those who are not really familiar w/ the HEI is to put
a dab of red paint on top of the place where the tach wire goes. If you by
mistake, hook 12 volts to it, it will fry it big time. Heck, even put an
insulated terminal thing on it to prevent a catastrophic boo-boo.
