For my two cents worth, I don't have any animosity for other makes, but
since this *is* a Chevy-only discussion, I could see where some people would
disguise their references to other manufacturers.
Since disguising takes more effort than not, I agree with skipping the
pretense.
(On top of all that, this whole conversation is silly)

The elimination of the inner letters looks suspiciously like the reverance
some demonimations accord the name of God, or G*d , by leaving the vowels
out (i.e. Y*H*V*H, or YHVH instead of the full name). (I know I'm losing
those of you who skipped Sunday school.)
Perhaps by engaging in these circumlocutions, you are inadvertently
exhalting F**d, effecting just the opposite of your intentions. Maybe it
would be safer just to call a Ford a Ford, after all.
