My horn quit working, and I don't know how to check for a short. I pulled the horn cover off, took off the nut, and got to the wire/spring switch, and it looks okay. I find a single wire coming out toward the bottom of the steering column, which goes to the horn. I can't find any metal to metal contact at the switch in the steering wheel. Anyone have any recent memory of working on one of these? Thanks- Smokey Culver '50 3600 5-window (mine) '56 3600 (hers) League City, Texas |
