well, the guy i bought my 53 3/4 ton from had a piece of diamond plate
welded onto the angle strips and crossmembers of the bed...finally got
around to drilling out all the spot welds and removing the thing...not bad
underneath, but not great...my bed wood was dark green, same as body color
i have removed all of the bed wood, except the two boards with the carriage
bolts? that mount the bed through the wood blocks to the frame, and i want
to remove them too...but i need some advice.
so, what do i need to do? pull the fenders off, then the box? what about
the running boards? do they need to come off now?
