[oletrucks] paint on bed wood question.

I recently got a bed wood kit for my 62. I have decided to go the cheapest
route and paint the wood like original. What paint should be used? Anything
special or just some semigloss black? I will also just paint the metal
strips body color. It should look pretty good with black wood and 1957
Tropical Turquoise strips.(I hope).
