Brad,
Many hoods sit up slightly because of the worn hood hinges and bolts. The
springs have enough strength to push up the rear of the hood, causing a poor
fit. Mine did the same thing, even after I replaced the bolts. Removing the
springs cured the problem. The hood looks good while closed, but a "prop
rod" is needed to keep the hood open for maintenance, etc. Try it on yours.
