I'm using DOT 5 in my truck and my 55 Buick.  Frankly, I have not noticed a
difference except that it does not smell bad and does not eat paint.  Lovely
blue color.  $$$

Downside:  you take it to a shop, tell them you have DOT 5, give them a
bottle of it to be safe, and they put DOT 3 in anyway.
