I took some measurements on what remains of the bed wood in my 54 pickup,
and they seem to agree with the 8-board measurements posted for the 55-59
pickups at www.chevytrucks.org. If this is right, perhaps someone could
update the web site to reflect this.
I'll be replacing my bed wood in about a month, or as soon as I can find
somebody who can spot-weld the corner strips on, and I will try to
remember to take some photos of the process.
