Hey Mike,
you'll have to get oversize ones, and machine out the axle to get rid of
the slop you do have. and as far as the tie rod ends, the newer ones
might be made out of better material, so they might wear better. But I
don't think you'd get any benefit out of using them over the stock ones.
But they will detract from the originality of your truck, in my "AGE"
ole opinion. Also the old ones are rebuild able, the new ones just
replaceable.
