Except for the starter draw on the battery, you won't draw enough through
the coil to pull the battery down for at least a day; I ran 7 hours with no
generator on a trip last year & had plenty of battery when I arrived.

Freshly rebuilt motors, however, do put a lot of strain on a battery &
starter; I had to put mine in my truck & pull it with another car, while
clutching it in 1st, in order to get it to turn over.  Expect it to run
hotter than normal for awhile also.
