I want my 50 3100 to be very low, BUT I do not want to lose the flavor and
looks of that era's meachanicals. Hence I do not want IFS. I have been
toying around the idea of modfyied airbag front and rear suspension,
keeping the leaves to locate the axels and using the airbags to regulate
the load. Has anyone used airbags in their trucks? Next I was just
thinking of keeping the suspension stock and just channeling the whole
truck. Would channeling be difficult on my 50? Has anyone channeled
anything, tips, tricks?? Does anyone rememeber the
purple AD truck from classic truckn, it was channeled and had recessed
high discharge head lights. It also layed the frame on the ground??? I
love the classics lines and technology but I just want my truck to sit on
the ground or as close as possible. thanks for the help.

Also as it gets warmer he in the midwest (detroit michigan) the truck bug
bites me more and more everyday. I was looking through a sales paper and
saw a 51 3 window for sale...no bumpers, on a trailer (not running I
guess), missing a grill bar, paint barly covering the rust, rusty...and
the worst part was the $1500.00 price tag!!! I just wanted another parts
truck.
