Hi all,
I had a request to tell what the decision was on the digi-cam. I went with
the KODAK DC215, You need to get the millenial or the metalic, MSRP is
$349.00,
You get:
-a true 2X optical zoom (optical and digital displays update with lens),
-Fill and Auto Flash,
-red eye for both types of flash.
-macro function
-a good selection of quality or quantity settings,
-a self timmer,
-a 4mg. compact flash memory card.
-It also uses AA bateries and not those crazy ones.
to get all the skinny, go to www.cnet.com and check out the reviews.
The above features are common to the camera,
with the metalic or melinium editions, you get an extra card (8mg.) and a USB
reader, and some rechargeable batteries ( you will want these). I didn't
want to wait the 2-3 weeks for the milliniums, ar the metalics (all on line
retailers were sold out.)
So I went to Wally world and got the regular 215 for $299.00 (on sale) and
for $50 got a 16mg. flash card and USB reader. I already have a bunch of AA
rechargeables.
So any way that is my reccomenedation,
Any body wanna buy a GREAT 35 mm. Minolta XG-1 with 45mm lens and 2X
extension and Thrystar Multi dedicated Zoom Flash? I will not be needing them
any more.
Thanks,
Casey
