Well, I never did get a webpage built, but it's still a possibility.
(Thanks very much for all your help, Wayne!) In the meantime, I've found
another way to post pics of my '47 on the Web. Just got a new digital
camera, and in the process of researching cameras, I ran across several free
online photo storage sites. All these sites let you set up "photo albums"
which you can open to anyone you'd like. For those of you who might not want
to build a webpage...but still want some online pics of your truck...the
photo storage sites might be a good option. I use www.zing.com and
www.ofoto.com Both are excellent, but I use Zing the most.
If you don't have a digital camera, but still want to post pics of your
truck, all you have to do is use a scanner, or have your pics developed on a
disk. You can then upload the pics to an online site and set up your own
album. It's very simple to open your album to anyone you'd like. And, the
storage sites I use provide you with unlimited storage space. They make
their money when people order prints.
