I just got back from town and I went there to look at a 53 five window and
what a rolling heap it was. He wanted 2 grand for it. He wasn't home, but I
wouldn't want it. The cab corners were rusted so bad that you could slip 2 or
3 fingers in the rust holes. The bed was a wreck, a steel plate all bent to
heck, no brakes, crummy tires, no speedo. windows won't roll. All there was
that was worth anything was the hood and the 2 glass blue dots. I was
disappointed for sure. I thought for 2 grand that it could be driven. I'd give
him 300 for it, but no more. If he gets 2 grand for it, I could get 6 grand
for mine and pigs fly, too!
