Its pretty easy to do 'tandem master cylinder' setups. The easiest
is to purchase one from a race shop. They are not too expensive.
Look for 'Wilwood' and 'Tilton' brands. Start your quest at REAL
race shops like those who sell to "round 'n round 'n round" guys.
They can supply everything you need. The setup you are looking
for is called a "balance bar".
I built my own "balance bar" setup and only purchased the ms(s).
I selected the Wilwood 'cause it was a bit less expensive but was
virtually identical to the pricey Tilton.
I actually have three ms(s) in my setup. Two ms(s) are linked with
a balance bar and drive the disc brakes as mentioned before. The
third ms is used for my hydrolic clutch setup. All three are identical.
On the odd chance I blow the clutch ms, theoretically I could reroute
one of the brake ms's and limp 'home' or to assistance. Yea, I know
one is really getting out there but I also only need one spare rebuild
kit for the lot of them. Anyway, given their compact size, I have all
three mounted under the floor in the same place as the original ms.
Hey, it works great and looks 'normal' in the cab because I could
still use the same 'ol pedals.
