At the risk of getting off-topic here, I'd like to add that Inliners
International has its roots in the appreciation and preservation of all the
Wayne, Howard, Fisher and Horning variations on the Chevy and GMC 12 port
variants. Thus the title of our newsletter, "The 12 Port News". The club has
evolved into a more generic support group for production inline engines, mostly
the GM 235 and 250 families, but as our 20th anniversary approaches, look for
more articles that reflect back on these early heads and their racing
successes. The club has renewed efforts to locate surviving examples, will be
updating the "12 Port Registry", and reporting on where the various original 12
Port patterns are today. At the same time, look for features on the latest
member projects in turbocharging and improving the venerable inlines for street
and competition. Anyone even remotely interested in inline engines, past,
present or future will benefit from membership. Visit out "virtual garage" at

<... has me wondering about Wayne heads for 302" GMCs.

<I have seen a few pictures of these beasts in old
<(pre-sixties) copies of Hot Rod Magazine. They seem
<to be cross flow (intake on the driver's side, exhaust
<on the passenger's side). Anyone know of any
<information on the web about these heads?
