Thanks for the input Joe. After I looked at the picture and thought about
it, I see you are right about about adding some gussets for support. I
think that over-engineering this is probably a good idea. I definitely
don't want to have the transmission come loose while driving down the road!
When you consider the torque involved here, I definitely want to be on the
safe side.
