The machine shop lost a number of parts when rebuilding my engine. I have
given up trying to get them to replace the missing parts. I have managed to
replace some of the missing parts, but am still looking for the following:
1. Throttle Linkage and bolt that mounts this to the block.
This is the piece located below the manifold that connects the rod
from the manifold with the rod from the gas pedal. (I have the rods.)
2. The small metal tab between the oil pan and block that the spring
from the above linkage is anchored to.
3. The cap for the crankcase ventilator tube.
Does anyone have these around from an old engine, that they want to get rid
of?
The engine is a 1952 - 235, but I expect the parts should be the same as
from a 216. The bolt and throttle linkage from a 1949 is different and did
not fit.
