Jim,  it couldn't be easier.  Bought the locking mechanism from Truck Stop
in Orange, CA, unbolted the handle, popped out the old button, which, as I
recall, had a snap retainer, and pushed in the new locking mechanism.  Tried
the key once or twice, replaced the snap retainer and bolted it back in.
Ten minute job.
