I'm with you Mike.
The same question is posed for scratches on a TF wrap-around rear window.
Can scratches be polished out.
I know that some windshield specialists can fix small stone chips by pulling
a vacuum on the affected area and filling it with a clear epoxy. I have
seen a fixed hole and the results are quite impressive. My only reservation
is that some epoxies may be affected by heat or UV and may turn hazy.
On a further note, I just got back from a business trip to Harvard, Ill last
Tuesday. Boy it was cold (+10 deg F). Being an old Pennsylvania boy, I
suddenly became homesick. California may be warm and sunny, but one needs
the chill to bring about character! :>)

Subject: [oletrucks] Windshield Polishing question
Does anybody know of a good solution to remove small pits from windshields,
any home remedies. Any thing short of replacing the window, other than the
small pits the windows are fine.
